  1.         Welcome to BeamSolver   Copyright (c) Gerald Bechen 1995

  3.         Beamsolver is a GUI driven engineering application that 
  4.         allows the user to calculate the solution for any of 
  5.         nine different common beam configurations. The user can 
  6.         input (or select) a beam's cross section, length, load
  7.         type, and material properties, and then quickly calculate 
  8.         the beam retraint and shear forces, bending moments, 
  9.         stresses in the beam, and beam displacements.

  12.      *  BeamSolver has been tested on:  A1000, A1200, A3000 and
  13.         should run on any Amiga with OS 2.0+ w/1MB CHIP/1MB FAST RAM.

  15.      *  Install Beamsolver by copying its drawer to wherever you
  16.         like. To use it double click on its icon, or issue the 
  17.         command "Beamsolver" from the CLI. 
  18.           
  19.          BeamSolver is an Engineering tool, intended to be used 
  20.          by persons who have been adequately trained or have 
  21.          otherwise become familiar with the engineering principles 
  22.          related to BeamSolver. Documentation included with the 
  23.          BeamSolver Software is primarily intended to acquaint 
  24.          casual users with concepts they should become familiar 
  25.          with before implementing a completed beam design.

  28.    The Beamsolver distribution file is named "BeamSolver1.lha" and 
  29.    includes the following files:

  40.    After decompressing the "BeamSolver1.lha" file, all of the
  41.    above files should reside in a drawer labeled "BeamSolver".
